West Didsbury Astronomical Society

About the Club

West Didsbury Astronomical Society brings together people who have an interest in Astronomy and live in the Manchester (UK) area. Everyone is welcome from the complete beginner to the more experienced astronomer. There are regular meetings where people will learn what is in the sky that month and listen to an astronomy related talk. They also organise local observing sessions, trips to a dark site and social occasions that are optional to attend. People are welcome to call in at a society meeting which are usually held 7-9pm on the second Monday of every month (except for August). Please check their website for details if you are thinking of attending.
