Loughton Astronomical Society

About the Club

Loughton Astronomical Society is the home of astronomy in West Essex. We meet on Thursday evenings between 8:00 and 10:00 p.m. in the Scout Hall, off Loughton Lane, Theydon Bois. Visitors are always welcome with any level of experience. If you are serious, curious, want to learn or just fill an evening then come along. Try one of our observing evenings and look through the telescopes. No need to call, just turn up.

For younger observers (6-14 years) we have AstroKyds, our junior section that meets 2nd Friday of the month (except April and August). Please bring a responsible adult.
