Eden Valley and Penrith Astronomy Club

About the Club

Eden Valley and Penrith Astronomy Club are a new Astronomy Group covering Penrith and the Eden Valley in Cumbria. They usually meet on the 3rd Thursday of the month at Morland Village Hall at 7pm. Please check their events page or FB group for more details.

Members are a mix of ages and abilities and welcome both complete beginners through to budding “Patrick Moores”. Meetings usually include a presentation by one of their members or a guest speaker followed by some star gazing, weather permitting. Occasionally, they go on visits to local observatories or nearby dark sky sites.
